  • Listening to: Little Bird- Brook White

No more Loveland. SO SAD ;______;
I freaking bawled when I left. I kept digging my head into the tray on the back of the seat in front of me so I wouldn't cry on the plane XD. At least I got to go to a few places i really like one more time. I got a new coat from the Nepali Bazaar (I still love my rainbow coat more than this one though <3) in Estes Park. MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GET HOODIES AND I CAN'T GO BACK D':
I MISS MY LOVELAND. I WANNA GO HOOOOMMMMME ;_____;

Enough of my stupid grieving. I went to the Montgomery County Fair :D
I have funnel cake and I got to see chickens and pigs. I can't not be happy.
I wanted to take home that adorable Mille de Fleur hen :'D
But that's over and now I'm bored.

To Colorado!

Thu Aug 6, 2009, 9:55 PM
  • Mood: Nervous
  • Listening to: Pearls- Sade
  • Reading: Oryx and Crake
  • Watching: Skins
Off to CO on Saturday. I'm glad I'll get one more week there, even though I wish I could stay. Several years ago, I would've killed to live in Maryland, but it's so different in MD now that I don't really love it the same way anymore. But it's my home, I have to love it. Still, now I would kill to stay in CO.

Not really sure what I'll be able to do, my mom will be working the whole time, so I can't go anywhere. Hopefully I'll find something to do so I won't be bored. Or I could just sit and talk to my dog and chicken. Yeah, I talk to my pets. Who doesn't at one point <3

Back from Florida

Sat Aug 1, 2009, 9:49 PM
  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: When the Rain Comes- Third Day
  • Reading: Hatteras Blues
  • Watching: Neon Genesis Evangelion
  • Playing: Pokemon Crystal. Don't judge me XD
Yay I'm back from Florida @___@
If I stayed there any longer I probably would've stopped breathing XD. My dad's cats make my asthma try to kill me.

The plane ride over was entertaining, there was a couple next to me with like eight kids, all of whom were desperately trying to get their parents to take them to Disney World. And the constant "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" XD. I thought that only worked for roadtrips.

Of course, as soon as my dad opened the front door I was mauled. It's just inevitable. I was constantly covered in Doberman and Golden Retriever slobber the entire week. I don't know why big dogs feel the need to act like complete dorks around me, the normally stoic Golden was jumping all over me. The Dobey was just... a Dobey XD. She's a big crybaby, attention hog. Then there were the horses. Dee tried to mow me over and acted all stubborn and walked where she shouldn't, Maggie WOULDN'T walk, and Kay just glared at me every time she saw me. They don't like strangers, apparentley. The cats, as usual, hated me. But they don't like anyone. The rat really couldn't of cared less about me.

The only exciting thing we did was go to the Kennedy Space Center, which was AWESOME, but I forgot my camera. Still a great place nontheless, seeing all the old shuttles and other space stuff was really cool. I used to be obssessed with astronomy, but I just kinda floated away from it after a while. But I think I went back to my third and fourth grade obsession for a day :D

On an unrelated note, I'm thinking about mabye trying to turn one of my really short (and I mean REALLY short) stories into comic form. But I'm not so great at comic layouts. I can do the story and most of the art, but layouts just screw me up. This is why I stick to writing XD. One of my stories is very short, doesn't require too much artistic talent, has basically no dialogue, and I have every bit of the plot figuired out. Sounds kind of easy. So I might try with this one. Might post it on here if I ever actually do it. But I'll probably need several more years of practice before I do anything major :)

Off to Florida

Sun Jul 19, 2009, 8:16 PM
  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: Blood Diamond Sountrack
  • Reading: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
  • Watching: National Lampoon's Vacation
I'll be leaving for Florida, the land of no internet connection, in a few days, so I'll be relatively dead for about a week.

And I saw the new Harry Potter movie *flails around in joy*
'Twas awesome :D. Not the best one, but it was great anyway. I can't tell you how hard I giggled when ron got love-drunk on those chocolate things. The way he just dropped off the back of the couch was marvelous XD. It definatly had a lot more humor than the other movies, which is great, but I was hoping for a darker, thicker plot. Guess that's what I get for not reading the books first.

Still trying to convince my mom to stay in CO. But she's hellbent on leaving.
